About Marie

Let me introduce you to Marie Baldwin. To call this professional "dedicated" would be an understatement. At 6:00am, Marie is up and walking two miles on the track at Frazer Church. There are days when the schedule is hectic and long hours are ahead but she is dedicated to start her day off on the right foot (so to speak)!

Education: Marie graduated from Abilene High School. Married with two children, she began college at Auburn University Montgomery in 1970. She earned a B.S. in Elementary Education. She completed graduare work at Troy University Montgomery. Marie was a dedicated Elementary Teacher.

Real Estate Education: Marie was a Realtor from 1986-1989. She was out of real estate for several years but went back to school, earned her license again in June, 1999. She has since earned the GRI (Graduate Realtor Institute), ABR (Accredited Buyer Representative), SRES (Senior Real Estate Specialist), and CRS (Certified Residential Specialist) designations. Yes, to be the BEST in her field!

Special Time for Family: Marie was married to her childhood sweetheart, Bobby, for 40 years. They raised two wonderful children, Scott and Kelli. Bobby passed away suddenly. After three years, Marie met and married Burt Baldwin. Together, they have four children, five grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Marie's mother shares their home.

Spiritual: Marie and Burt attend Frazer Church and arrive at Sunday School at 8:00AM. Marie sings in the choir at 9:30AM and Burt is an Usher. Wednesday nights, Marie goes to choir practice. Dedicated to help others, as she lives her faith.

Community: Marie is a member of the Women's Council of Realtors, past chairperson of the Public Relations Committee for Realtors. She is a member of a Bible Study twice a month called. "Realtors Giving God the Glory." She is a member of the Kiwanis Club of Montgomery and presently serves on the Board of Directors. She served as an Ambassador with the Chamber of Commerce. She is past-President of the Montgomery Independent Automobile Dealers Association, and served on the Board of Directors for the Alabama Independent Automobile Dealers. She is on the Board of Directors for Arrowhead Homeowner's Association.

Marie is a former teacher and would love to "HELP YOU DO YOUR HOMEWORK."

Code of Ethics

The Code establishes time-honored and baseline principles that come from the collective experiences of REALTORS® since the Code of Ethics was first established in 1913. Those principles can be loosely defined as:

Loyalty to clients;

Fiduciary (legal) duty to clients;

Cooperation with competitors;

Truthfulness in statements and advertising; and non-interference in exclusive relationships that other REALTORS® have with their clients.

To earn a designation, a REALTOR® a real estate agent has taken coursework and demonstrated specific skills, performance and knowledge in a particular area of the real estate industry
